A QR token system for diagnostic centers and pathology labs
DoctorIn gives a diagnostic center or pathology lab one QR stand at reception. Patients scan it with their phone camera, with no app, and see the running token, timings and directions on the lab's own page. Reception moves the token from a PIN-protected page on any phone, and patients can book a slot with a ₹100 UPI deposit.

What problem does it solve for a lab?
At a busy lab counter, the same few questions come up all day: which number is being called, how long the wait is, what time the lab opens and where exactly it is. Each question pulls the receptionist away from the patient in front of them.
DoctorIn answers those questions on the patient's own phone. The lab's page shows the running token, the next numbers, the timings and a Google Maps link, so the counter can focus on the patient at the desk.
What do patients see when they scan the QR?
- The running token and the next ones, as numbers only. No names appear.
- Timings for the morning and evening batches, plus notices such as a holiday or a late start.
- One-tap Google Maps directions and a one-tap call to reception.
- Slot booking with a ₹100 UPI deposit, adjusted in the bill at the desk (Smart Clinic and Multispecialty Pro).
The same page opens from a shared link, so a patient can check the token from home before leaving.
How does the lab's reception run it?
- 1Open the reception panel at /admin on a counter phone or tablet and enter the PIN.
- 2Reset the token at the start of the day with one click.
- 3Tap + Next Token each time the next patient is called. − Previous corrects a mistake.
- 4Check booking messages on WhatsApp and match each UTR to a UPI payment.

Does it handle reports or patient records?
No. DoctorIn is not lab software, an HMIS or an EMR. It does not store reports, results, patient records or bills. It shows the queue and takes deposit-backed bookings, and that is all. Keep your existing lab software for everything else.
How quickly can a lab go live?
Within 48 hours. You pay 50% to start the build and the remaining 50% after the page is live. Free hosting and SSL are included, and the page runs at [clinic].doctorin.online or a custom domain.
